Defined Omni Channel Strategic direction and expansion planning aligned with the company strategy and translated this into;

  • the digital projects roadmap (innovation pipeline) from identification, prioritization, assessment through pilots and eventual hand over to business

  • rebranded PGZ to an open and visionary company, by also modernizing the corporate identity
  • defined, developed and implemented an Omni Channel sales strategy to transform a traditional company (and industry) in construction(DIY) materials to an online B2B and later B2C e-commerce player, to make our customers “Omni Channel Proof”
  • developed new proposition and solutions to broaden our position in the value chain and create added value to both retailers and suppliers to serve the over 2.000 DIY stores in the Benelux

Setting up processes resulting in new department (back office) for digitalizing our inventory and filling/maintaining the Product Information System

  • Became GS1 member to push standardization within the DIY industry
  • Launching Bluetooth scanners for our field sales and the independent retailers, extending this solution with online POS system for the retailer
  • Provided independent Belgium DIY-retailers with their own web shop, powered by PGZ (including our stock, product data, PSP, financial clearing, logistic fulfilment and returns handling), so the store becomes an Omni Channel player
  • Create and deliver training materials for pilot transition to business operational ownership
